“Isn’t that Don Shula over there?” My wife recognized him as we boarded the Miami Dolphins’ float for last year’s Winterfest Boat Parade through downtown Fort Lauderdale. A big yacht had been decorated to spotlight the Dolphins’ 1972 Perfect Season, and members of the original ’72 team were guests of honor, with a few lucky season ticket holders invited to ride along.
